2	Mrs. Gonzalez is comparing car sizes. Car A is 3.7 metres long and Car B is 4.1 metre long. If her parking place is 3.90 metres long, which car should she buy? How many extra metres would she need to buy the other one?	He should buy car A 4.10 – 3.90 = 0.2 She would need 0.2 metres.
3	Strawberries are on sale at 2.25 Euros per kilo. Mrs. Llorens bought 2 kilos. How much did she pay? If she paid with a 10 euro note, how much is the change?	2.25 x 2 = 4.5 She paid 4.5 euros. 10 – 4.6 = 5.5 Her change is 5.5 euros.
4	Mikel finished his 3 attempts in the long jump. Her first jump was 4.56 metres, her second 5.21 and her final jump 5.86. What is the total of Mikel’s three jumps?	4.56 + 5.21 + 5.86 = 15.63 He jumps a total of 15.63 metres.
5	Sonia went to Madiamarkt and bought 3 DVD’s. The cost of the DVD’s were 12.99 Euros, 14.95 Euros and 17.99 Euros. How much did she pay? What would be Sonia’s change if she pays with 50 Euros?	12.99 + 14.95 + 17.99 = 45.93 She paid 45.93 euros 50 – 45.93 = 4.07 Her change would be 4.07 euros

3	65 bags of nuts are to be divided among 13 students. Each bag contains 15 nuts. How many nuts will each student receive?	65 x 15 = 975 975 ÷ 15 =65 Each student will receive 65 nuts.
4	Sophie works at a fast-food restaurant with one fryer. Each basket of fries takes 1.15 minutes to fry. How long will it take her to fry 3 baskets of fries?	1.15 x 3 = 3.45 It will take her 3.45 minutes
5	Marta took a three-minute timed typing test. She typed 168 words. What was her typing rate per minute?	168 ÷ 3 = 56 Her typing rate is 56 words per minute.
